DAC + CD

Romulus Signature
真正的原生 DSD
Romulus Signature 通過 USB 提供真正的原生 DSD 1x 和 2x 功能。整個DSP處理部分被替換（如上圖，點擊放大）。新部分包括一個先進的 Xilinx 門陣列，它允許完全繞過 DSP 以進行純 DSD 1x 和 2x 操作。不會發生 DSD 數據的更改。市面上很多宣稱播放DSD的DAC，實際上都是將數據轉換為PCM，從而完全失去了DSD操作的目的。
Vishay Z 箔電阻器
除了 DSP 處理部分，還安裝了一個全新的模擬板（如上圖，點擊放大）。這種新的模擬板還允許 DSD 數據直接傳遞到 DAC，即在純差分模式下運行的 Burr-Brown PCM1792A。極低噪聲、高線性度的 Vishay Z 箔音頻電阻器用於關鍵的電流到電壓轉換階段（如上圖所示，點擊放大）。
Dynamicaps
與所有 Saturn Signature 產品一樣，關鍵的耦合電容器被 Peter Moncrief 的 Dynamicaps 取代。四個安裝在真空管增益級和輸出級之間，均採用全差分模式。這些提供了更高的分辨率、更少的顆粒、更大的高頻延伸和自然度，同時保持了 Romulus 音調平衡的基本優勢。八個 2uF 輸出電容器被 4uF Dynamicaps 取代，除了改進的低音清晰度、驅動力和動態外，它還提供更高的分辨率。（如上圖，點擊放大）。
HRS 耦合器
四個標準橡膠支腳被 Harmonic Resolutions Systems 的 Nimbus 耦合器取代，該耦合器專為 Aesthetix 製造。這種變化降低了本底噪聲並增加了更多的空氣和空間。
Romulus Eclipse

產品特色
USB 噪聲隔離
為了對抗計算機產生的噪聲污染，我們設計了光耦合器，將 USB 輸入和處理部分與 DSP 部分（包括地）電隔離。USB 輸入的任何部分與 Pandora 數字或模擬部分的任何部分之間沒有連續性。雖然昂貴且難以做到，但與直接連接的 USB 部分相比，它實現了巨大的音質改進，允許噪聲滲入音頻電路。
專有

精密時鐘
數字產品的時鐘部分對於音頻性能絕對至關重要。任何抖動（微小的時序變化）或噪聲都會導致 DAC 設備以不正確和變化的速率執行模擬轉換，從而導致明顯的負面影響。最簡單的時序解決方案——但也是最容易出現抖動的——是簡單地允許 DAC 使用輸入源設備的時鐘。更好的解決方案是在 DAC 中加入一個內部時鐘，使用現成的晶體振盪器來調節時序。
全差分 DAC
數模轉換由 Burr-Brown PCM 1792A 以純差分模式運行。差分模式是一個關鍵的實現特性，它只放大音頻信號本身，消除噪聲和其他數字偽影。數字側與模擬側隔離，每個都具有離散調節的獨立電源。特別注意電路佈局和元件選擇。
真空管放大
